What do you do with rest of your fabric?
I put it to the box of scraps.
Sometimes I decide to empty it. It is good reason to make a quilt and I love to sew a string blocks - easy.
There is my newest quilt I call Sea of turqoise scales quilt.
Size: 136 * 202 cm 53*79"
100% cotton, wool batting
I machine quilted it on my small home bernina. The quilting pattern remind me flower bud ( it is spring). I used Kaffe Fasset fabric and dots for back side.
I made it in violet, dark gray and brown is waiting to be finished.
If I have some left overs, It is time for pieced back side.
Another string project - Spiderweb.
