We spend last weekend at a family party. People of 10 nations came, so we must wear something different - a traditional cloths of our area. My cloths id the oldest - almost 50 year odl. The others are new.
What a great blog! I found you through the bloggers quilt festival:) I look forward to following your posts! One reason I love your quilts is that they remind me of the old way of quilting. Use what you have to make something beautiful! I love using scraps of whatever I can find for that reason, even though in the US we have so many choices of fabric, I think it's more true to the craft of Quilting to use what you have. There is an old saying here " Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without."
OdpovědětVymazatI just had lots of fun looking at your blog and the quilts you have made! Lovely and fun! I also like Bonnie Hunter and her methods. I have a scrap quilt that is almost ready for basting and quilting. So glad I found your blog, Jitka!
